This handsome 7-year-old, 18lb fluffy tuxedo gentleman has a heart just as big as his size. 
Meatball recently went through a heartbreaking journey after losing his person suddenly and coming to Fupi. Possibly due to the stress of this change, he faced some serious medical challenges. He is currently recovering from both PU surgery and bladder surgery to remove crystals — but this sweet boy is healing beautifully in his foster home and is ready to find the family he deserves.
Despite all he’s been through, Meatball is the definition of a sweetheart. He is a professional-level purr machine, loves attention, melts for pets and belly rubs, and has plenty of playful energy (catnip toys are definitely his favorite). He loves his treats, loves his food, and is always ready to share his big personality.
Meatball is surprisingly calm and friendly with other cats. He previously lived with two other cats, and when introduced a new feline friend in foster, he was curious and gentle — he didn’t even flinch! He seems like the kind of guy who would happily make kitty friends in a new home.
Because of his PU surgery, Meatball’s only long-term special need is staying on a prescription urinary diet to help keep him healthy. Otherwise, he should be able to enjoy a normal, happy life as the amazing companion he is.
This big guy has already had his world turned upside down once. Now he’s looking for someone who will spoil him, dote on him, and make sure his next chapter is filled with love, comfort, and stability.
